There's no wrong way to write this — half a sentence is fine.
If you need more than a website
This site can offer perspective and a few practical things. It cannot replace a person. If any of this applies, a real person is a better next step than another article.
- A crisis line or text line, if things feel unsafe or unbearable right now — Right now, if you're having thoughts of harming yourself or not wanting to be here
- A doctor or therapist — If low mood, hopelessness or grief has lasted weeks and is affecting sleep, work, or daily functioning
- A grief or bereavement support group, often free through hospices or community organizations — After a loss, especially if you don't have others who've been through something similar
- A trusted person in your life — even a short, honest message to them — Any time you notice you haven't actually told anyone how hard this has been
If you are thinking about suicide or self-harm, please contact a crisis line in your country right now, or emergency services — this is more important than anything else on this page.

Share as much or as little as feels right — nothing is required beyond what you're comfortable sharing.
We read it
A real person reads what you send, though this isn't a crisis service and response may take some time.
We point you somewhere useful
If there's a more appropriate resource for what you've described, we'll say so plainly rather than pretending we're the right fit for everything.
We do not publish an email address, so this form is the fastest route to a person. We are not a crisis service and we cannot provide care, counselling, or clinical, legal or financial advice.
